Educational Courses and Materials
All Educational Courses and Materials are Non-Refundable.
Your payment for the class reserves your spot in the course and is good for one (1) year from the date of payment. If you cannot take the course you sign up for you may transfer your name to another class provided there are available spots. If you begin a course and are unable to complete the course you have one (1) year to complete from the date you begin your coursework.
Merchandise Purchased In-store
In-store purchases of merchandise will only be granted a refund if:
- the item is returned within 30 days from the date of purchase
- the item is unused
- the item is in it's original packaging
If the item is used or the original packaging is missing or damaged the item is ineligible for a refund. Dive computers, regulators, items made of cloth, neoprene or rubber are not eligible for refunds or exchanges once they have been used in the water. This includes, but is not limited to:
- wetsuits
- gloves
- hoods
- boots
- buoyancy compensator devices (BCDs)
Merchandise Purchased Online
Online purchases of merchandise will only be granted a refund if the product is eligible for a refund under the In-store policy.
Additionally, if the order qualified for free shipping then the purchaser must pay to ship the item back and must cover the shipping costs incurred during the original order. Otherwise, the cost of the initial shipping charges will be subtracted from the refund offered on returned merchandise.
Free Shipping
Under most circumstances, online purchases of merchandise totaling $50 or more qualify for free shipping. There are, however, limitations to this policy. The following conditions apply:
- The shipping destination of the order must be within the contiguous United States.
- The order must not contain any of the items listed here.
Special Orders
All special orders for items not typically carried in stock are non-refundable and will not be exchanged for any reason. These sales are considered final and require payment in full before the order will be placed.
Travel
All deposits on trips are considered non-refundable and non-transferable. These deposits reserve your spot on the specific trip you sign up for and denies other parties interested in the trip from obtaining your spot. Lone Star Scuba Management strongly recommends obtaining trip or travel insurance if you are unsure about your plans.
