TRAINING
Enriched Air Nitrox Scuba Class

Lone Star Scuba in Fort Worth, Texas

Enriched Air Nitrox has become an increasingly popular diver course over the last decade.  The term Nitrox comes from the different amount of Nitrogen and Oxygen in the breathing gas as compared to normal air.  The increased levels of Oxygen benefit us as divers in decreasing the amount of Nitrogen that loads into our blood stream during a dive.  The decreased level of Nitrogen build up helps protect us against Decompression Sickness and Nitrogen Narcosis.  With the increased Oxygen content we are able to increase our time at depth and also increase the number of repetitive dives we could make as opposed to using normal air.

The purpose of the Nitrox course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and training needed to use Nitrox mixtures up to 40% Oxygen.  The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course entails only 3 hours of lecture with no dives required.  Not a bad way to spend an evening in order to increase your time exploring a beautiful Caribbean reef!

Classes are held at Lone Star Scuba beginning at 6pm on the dates listed below. To sign up simply stop by the shop or give us a call.
