Beginning Scuba Diver Class / Course / Certification

Let the adventure begin with the scuba diver course!

This is first certification on your path of diving. You will learn the fundamentals in the classroom as well as the pool. For the final, you will go to a local lake to finish up the course with a series of check-out dives. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.

Our classes include the textbook, tables, logbook, study guide, video media, audio media, and the use of our training buoyancy compensator, regulator, octopus, three gauge instrument console, tanks, weights, and weight belt. Equipment items not included are your four personal items; mask, fins, snorkel, and boots. Students are responsible for additional costs associated with the checkout weekend; which include transportation, food, lodging if applicable, and lake fees. Once you have signed up for the course you will receive a 10% store discount for the duration of the course.

Nitrox can be combined to the course at a reduced rate and get both certifications at the end of the check-out weekend.
